Saratoga Solitaire (also known as thoughtful Solitaire) is best thought about as upside down Klondike - or Klondike with all the cards visible.
Saratoga is based on the three cards version of Klondike. This means that three cards are dealt at a time making it tricky to win (despite the alternative name of Thoughtful Solitaire).
In fact, I would say that it can be positively frustrating - especially when you know the exact cards that you need to be dealt in order to progress in the game.
